Personal Training Sessions

Personal training sessions offer tailored guidance and personalised sessions, aligning with individual goals and abilities. Through meticulous observation and feedback, we will fine-tune your technique and optimise your talent for maximum efficiency. OUR PROGRAM INCLUDES:

Personalized training plans: Our expert coaches will work with you to create a training plan that is tailored to your individual needs, goals, and schedule. We take into account your current fitness level, previous race history, and any injuries or limitations you may have.

Strength and conditioning: We understand that Ironman races require more than just endurance training. Our program includes strength and conditioning exercises that will help you build the muscular endurance and strength necessary to succeed in your races.

Nutrition coaching: Proper nutrition is critical for success in endurance events like Ironman races. Our nutrition coaches will work with you to develop a plan that supports your training and race day performance.

Race strategy: Our coaches have experience racing Ironmans themselves and have helped numerous athletes successfully complete the race. We will work with you to develop a race strategy that will help you perform your best on race day.

Community support: Ironman training can be a lonely endeavor, but you won't have to go it alone with our program. Our community of athletes and coaches will support and encourage you throughout your training journey.

SurfFit Squad Sessions

Squad sessions cater for small groups delivering dynamic training methods, personalised feedback and individual accountability. These sessions cater for all abilities, ages and fitness levels where participants will gain a deeper understanding of the ocean and the training principles required to enhance your standards and take your performances to the next level.

Our variable and differentiated programs will give you the setting you need whether you are at an advanced level of training and competition or just starting out in the ocean. You will swim, run and paddle board alongside like-minded athletes who will encourage you and challenge you. Your coach's expert support will boost your self-confidence as you witness ongoing progress throughout the season.

Sessions are a minimum 1 hour and are $20 per training session.

Private Training Packages

These specialized 6-week intensive training packages focus on a specific skill set and/or competition preparation.

Ironman package (6 weeks intensive training) $1500

Personal one-on-one training sessions consisting of 3 x 60-90min training sessions each week:

  • 1 x Swim

  • 1 x Board 

  • 1 x Iron session. 

You will also receive:

  • Weekly video analysis

  • Personalized training program focusing on how you can incorporate your personal sessions with your club/squad sessions

  • Practical sports psychology strategies

  • Nutrition plan

  • At-home body maintenance program

  • Fitness testing data analysis

  • Goal setting, planning and strategies to get the most out of your performance

Board Paddling Package (6 weeks intensive training) $850

Personal one-on-one training sessions consisting of 2 x 60-90min training sessions each week:

  • 2 x Board

You will also receive:

  • Fortnightly video analysis

  • Personalized training program focusing on how you can incorporate your personal sessions with your club/squad sessions

  • Practical sports psychology strategies

  • Fitness testing data analysis

  • Goal setting, planning and strategies to get the most out of your performance

Online Coaching

Do you love Surf Sports but only have access to limited coaching. SurfFit offers an online coaching package which will give you everything our athletes on the Gold Coast get through our virtual coaching packages. Regular video feedback, weekly programming and annual scheduling are all available. Stay in contact with Coach Dan on a regular basis and get the most out of your training from the best in the business, no matter where you are around the world! 

Online Coaching Platinum Package - $150/month:

  • Video feedback

  • Annual planning

  • Weekly scheduling

  • Unlimited communication 

  • Fully detailed training sessions for your choice(s) of discipline: board, swim, irons, running or swimming

Coaching Clinics

Coaching clinics are an exciting and rewarding way for clubs to boost the work they have done throughout the season. These clinics offer a fun and supportive learning environment where our team of coaches and athletes can share their expertise and participants receive personalised feedback and guidance. 

Through interactive demonstration and hands-on instruction, participants can explore new techniques and race strategies to improve their performances. Nutrition tips, training methods and sports psychology are other topics of discussion plus a range of training sessions will take place. These clinics provide a fantastic opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches and athletes in the industry and further develop club morale.

In addition to the technical aspects of surf sports, these clinics also focus on building confidence, resilience and teamwork skills. Coaches will provide motivational strategies and goal-setting techniques to help participants reach their full potential, both in and out of the surf.
